Hey Coaches, I too am a coach of 24 years. 4 athletic kids that played baseball and girls fastpitch softball at the highest levels, and I was blessed to coach them through all of the different parts of their journeys.

SlideyCat… Why that name? We have all heard of a “scaredy-cat…”which means fear is keeping someone from something. As a parent in a club program I heard an amazing head coach scream to one of his non-sliding athletes that he was a “SlideyCat”. I never forgot that. So give credit where credit is due….

Over these years and still today, I have a passion for creatively looking at ways to enhance and improve drills to develop key skills like sliding, catching a ball, hitting, cutoffs, backing up, pop-fly’s, pitching and catching.
